Have fun learning about these essential Texas “residents” and the plant life that supports them. Activities and topics will range from novice to expert level. Participate in group butterfly releases, go on nature photo safaris, take guided nature walks, watch an observational beehive, build and fly a butterfly kite, and purchase native pollinator plants and honey-related products. Learn how to nature journal and nature bathe. Educational speakers will share their years of experience and education as they discuss endangered bird species and the joy of birding.
