Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HILCO Electric Cooperative will hold an annual business meeting only September 30.
The business meeting will begin at 6 p.m. sharp at the HILCO Civic & Event Center. Members will be greeted by HILCO employees and seated. They then can submit their completed board election ballots in a secure ballot box. Once the ballots have been cast, the meeting will be conducted.
Unlike in the past, a meal will not be served this year, but all members casting a ballot will be entered into a prize drawing to be held at a later date.
This year’s annual meeting, like all annual meetings, is critically important to the co-op and its members. Members who are unable to attend can mail their ballots to be received by noon September 29 at the election post office box.
