Are You Interested in Serving on Medina EC’s Board of Directors?

Make plans to attend your District Nominating Meeting or run for a board position by petition

Members who wish to run for a position on the Medina Electric Cooperative Board of Directors should plan to attend the district nominating meeting for their voting district.

If you want to run but are unable to attend the meeting, you must be nominated by another member at the meeting or use the petition process. Look for more information on the petition process in the March issue of Texas Co-op Power or on MedinaEC.org/Nominee

Voting District 3
Thursday, February 21, 6 p.m.
Conference Room, Medina EC Rio Grande City Office
601 N. FM 3167, Rio Grande City

Members in attendance are entered for a chance to win a cash prize! At each meeting, we will award one $50 prize. 

The cooperative is governed by its board of directors, who are elected by the members. The board represents the interests of the membership. Board elections are held each September, and these nominating meetings partly determine who is placed on that ballot.

The board is responsible for setting policies under which the cooperative operates and making decisions regarding the financial health and well-being of the cooperative.
