Kingsland: September 28, Noon to 4 p.m., Taste Highland Lakes

Lake LBJ, the gem of the Highland Lakes region, truly has an incredible collection of fine foods, wines, distilleries and other beverage makers. The Highland Lakes community has created a widespread reputation as being abundant with natural resources and Texas charm. The Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is hosting its annual "Taste Highland Lakes" festival with delectable samples from the area’s food, beverage and spirits. The hand-selected vendors include Boat Town Burger Bar, Decadent Saint Winery, Fain’s Honey, Fresh Bit3s, MiiLLER’S Meat Market & Smokehouse, Packsaddle Nectars and The Thirsty Armadillo.
