Walker County Welcomes Growth

Construction brings new opportunities

If you have driven around Walker County lately, you have seen it: construction. From renovations to the build-out of new subdivisions, the growth in Walker County is a welcome sight. Growth can mean new business and new opportunities for people in some of these rural areas, and MidSouth Electric Co-op is excited to help power a few of these additions.

Co-op crews are also currently working on bringing MidSouth Fiber to these growing areas in Walker County. The availability of this high-speed internet service will allow residents to work from home and small businesses to thrive. If you are interested in bolder, faster fiber, please visit midsouthfiber.com to pre-register your account.

If you’re in the market for a new home, some of the new subdivisions in Walker County include Hunter’s Creek off state Highway 75, Rockbridge off FM 1791, Texas Grand Ranch off Interstate 45 and the new section of Timberwilde off state Highway 30, to name a few. Walker County is rich in history, but it also presents many chances for new beginnings. Come and see for yourself.
