Eliminate Clutter With Paperless Billing

Spring cleaning is on many peoples’ minds right now, and one easy task to get organized and eliminate paper clutter is to switch to paperless billing from Sam Houston Electric Cooperative.

“No longer do consumer-members need to wait for a paper bill to arrive in the mail,” said Ricky Harrell, chief member services officer. “Members can access their bill instantly on our mySamHouston web portal or through the mobile app.”

Members are also encouraged to register their phone number or email address with their account and opt in to receive alerts about their bill and service.

“Our staff will help to make sure you stay in the loop,” Harrell said. “Set up your own alert preferences, and we’ll let you know when your bill is due, an outage occurs or even when you’re close to your desired monthly electricity usage.”

Access mySamHouston information on SamHouston.net, or by using the mySamHouston mobile app for Apple or Android devices. In the app, click on Settings, then on Paperless to set your preferences for each account. devices
