For 13 years, the CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF) has supported North Texas organizations.
Through Operation Roundup®, Electric Members and Gas Customers round up their bills each month, donating on average $6 per year to help fund CCF, and every cent goes to worthy, local causes through nonprofit agencies.
Since 2004, over 275 organizations have received more than $9 million in funding.
“Every donation goes directly toward helping others,” said Vicki Sargent, Director of Community Relations at CoServ. “CCF’s sole purpose is to support education, meet basic human needs and promote community vitality.”
From engaging girls in STEM classes to feeding the food insecure, the footprint of CCF is visible everywhere.
“We are committed to making a difference in the lives of our Members, Customers and others in our region,” Vicki said. “It’s what being a cooperative is all about – acting for the benefit of others.”
In 2017, the CoServ Charitable Foundation has donated $250,000 to 18 area education foundations and more than $450,000 to local, worthy nonprofit organizations.
