So whether your passions lie in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art and math or you’re interested in a technical career, the cooperative may have an option that’s just right for you!
Not only does MidSouth EC offer a four-year, Department of Labor-certified lineworker apprenticeship program, we also offer an academic and technical scholarship program to high school seniors in our service territory. If your interests include technology, look no further than our fiber/information technology department or system operations dispatch for a fast-paced career in a rapidly evolving market. Is engineering more your speed? Our engineering department works on electrical engineering projects and even helps contribute to research studies with Texas A&M University. Does math or art speak to you? The accounting and communications departments work closely to monitor budgets and create art and marketing materials for the cooperative. Do you prefer work that takes you outside? Our water department offers a host of such technical career positions, as do our right-of-way and electrical operations departments.
