BCEC Donates to Local Fire Departments

Early this summer, it became evident that the drought and heat were going to keep our firefighters very busy and stress their resources: people, time and of course, money. To help them and to express our appreciation, BCEC presented $500 checks to each of the 20 departments that operate within our service area, for a total of $10,000 donated to local fire departments. These brave men and women work very hard—most often as volunteers—in scary, hazardous conditions and trying circumstances. Thank you, firefighters, for all you do.
