One of this month’s features is about paying tribute to a Christmas tradition.
Meet some of Medina Electric Cooperative’s employees who share their favorite family Christmas traditions.

My favorite tradition is that every Christmas, my mom has a Santa for me! If she can’t find someone to be Santa, she will dress up herself, like in this picture with me and my two kids.

Patti Taylor
Chief Administrative Officer
When we were blessed with the birth of our first granddaughter, the tradition of the 12 days of Christmas began. Twelve small gifts to open, one each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas.
Fast forward 12 years later, and we now do this for seven grandkids –that’s 84 small tokens of love!
Jackie Muennink
Communications Supervisor
Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I have a few traditions, but the one I look forward to the most every year is Christmas tree shopping with my kids. They have so much fun looking at all the different trees in the lot. Then we go home and decorate it together.

Katie Haby
Manager of Key Accounts and Business Development
My favorite Christmas tradition with my immediate family is our Christmas card pictures. We have taken them every year since our first child was born, and I love looking back at how much they have changed from year to year. I know I’ll cherish that even more as they get older.
