Make plans to join us for the Sam Houston Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting of Members on June 13. Attending the annual meeting is a great way to get involved with your Cooperative.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Polk County Commerce Center in Livingston. Members who attend the meeting will be able to visit with other member-owners, as well as meet the board of directors and Cooperative management. There will also be entertainment and a door prize drawing. Management will report on Co-op business, including the results of the directors election.
Instead of requiring member-owners to vote for board candidates in person at the annual meeting, Sam Houston EC’s bylaws allow member-owners to vote prior to the meeting. Be on the lookout next month for your election ballot, giving you the chance to vote either online or by mail.
