Finding Purpose Beyond Service

Mighty Oaks Foundation serves veterans and first responders

Each day, more than 20 military veterans commit suicide in America. Sadly, this statistic—provided by Mighty Oaks Foundation—is a low estimation at best. Though our nation’s warriors are no longer fighting a physical war when they return home, the mental war they are fighting persists.

United States Marine Corps Recon Marine, DOD contractor, bestselling author and Montgomery County resident, Chad Robichaux, faced his own psychological challenges after eight deployments to Afghanistan. Nearly becoming a veteran suicide statistic himself, Robichaux leaned on his friends, family and God to find mental and spiritual restoration. The veteran felt called to help his fellow warriors find healing, which inspired him and his family to establish Mighty Oaks Foundation.

Mighty Oaks is a faith-based veteran service organization committed to serving the military and first responder communities who have endured hardship through intensive, peer-based, non-clinical and faith-based Recovery Programs, Resiliency events and International missions.

Never Fighting Alone

Since 2011, Mighty Oaks has helped close to 500,000 of our Nation’s warriors.

Programs, including travel, are provided free-of-charge to participants and spouses. Staff and team leaders authentically share their personal struggles and triumphs ensuring that attendees never feel like they are fighting alone.

Utilizing ranches across the United States, a retreat style experience surrounds participants with the peace of nature while focusing on hope and healing in Christ.

Making an Impact

Mighty Oaks Foundation has helped redirect thousands, many in our very own community. In doing so, lives have been saved, families have been restored and legacies have been changed for eternity.

Robichaux reminds us a veteran’s purpose is to serve.

Supporting Our Warriors

Mighty Oaks relies on the support of a grateful nation; all donations received help the foundation cover costs including transportation, lodging, programs and long-term aftercare. If you are willing and able, you can donate directly online at mightyoaksprograms.org or by mail.

If you know or are a U.S Military Service Member, Veteran, First Responder, or spouse of a Warrior looking for purpose beyond service, applications can be completed on the Mighty Oaks Foundation website.
